Uno dei temi ricorrenti nei libri Helen Doron é il Drago, probabilmente perché sanno che é una figura mitologica che affascina molto i bimbi piccoli:

I have a dragon. He goes everywhere with me.

He sits at the table, when I have my tea.

He walks in the street with my mummy. But she can’t see him, only me.

I can see my dragon, Sam. Yes I can. Yes, I can.

I love Sam and Sam loves me. Together we’re as happy as can be. Hee Hee.

Sam has a big nose with fire coming out of it!

And Sam can fly! Like a fairy. Wheeeeeeeeee.
